½ kg. Beetroot
1 cup milk
2 tbsp. ghee
3 cups sugar
2 pods cardamom
6 cashew nuts
Peel the beetroot and grate it.
In a wok/pan heat 2tsp ghee. Sauté the beetroot till the aroma emits.
Add in the milk and cook the beetroot constantly stirring so that it does not stick to the pot.
When the beetroot is cooked add is the sugar and remaining ghee. When the ghee begins to separate add in roasted cashew ,skinned pista and badam.
