NELLIKAAYI TAMBLI.
Ingredients
4-5 nellikaayi (gooseberry)
Coconut scrapping 1 tbsp.
Buttermilk 2 cups
Green chilli 1-2
Ghee 2 tsp.
Jeera 1 tsp.
Salt to taste.
Method,
Roast the green chilli and and jeera in 1 tsp of ghee, add green coconut scraping.
Add deseeded gooseberry of this roasted mixture and grind to a fine paste
Add butter.
Season with ghee and jeera sends.
Is a great accompaniment with rice, or Khichdi. Or just as a drink by itself.
