Caldo Verde

1 potato

12 spinach leaves

2 cups milk – 300 ml.

2 cups water 300ml

8 petals garlic

1 tsp. White pepper powder

2 tbsp. Butter

1 Maggie cube powder

Salt to taste.

Method:

Boil, peel and grate potatoes and finely cut spinach leaves keep aside.

Heat butter in a pan and stir fry garlic till light brown add spinach leaves and sauté for a minute.

Add grated potato and sauté till it changes colour

Add milk, water, Maggie cube white pepper powder and salt to taste.

Let it simmer on medium flame for 2 minutes till it is semi thick and serve hot.
