Matar Paneer

MATAR PANEER

Preparation time 10mnts.

Cooking time      15mnts.

Serves                 4

Maggie bhuna masala for gravy dish                1packet

Turmeric powder                                          ½ tsp.

Red chilli powder                                          ½ tsp.

Coriander powder                                         1tsp

Peas                                                             200g shelled

Paneer                                                                    300g cubed

Water                                                           300m, approx.2 cups

Salt to taste

Chopped coriander leaves garnishing.

METHOD

  • Put the Maggie bhuna masala in a pressure cooker and stir fry for a minute. Add the turmeric powder, red chilli powder and coriander powder and fry for another minute.
  • Add the peas and sauté for 2-3mnts and then add the paneer cubes. Water and slat if required. Mix well. Cover the cooker and cook for 2 minutes after the first whistle.
  • Sever hot garnish with coriander leaves.
