Mooli Poha

½ cup grated mooli

½ cup poha/

3 tbps grated carrots

3 tbsp. Boiled peas

3 tbsp. Chopped onions

2 green chillies

¼ tsp grated ginger

2 tbsp. Chopped coriander leaves

½ a lemon.

Salt to taste.

3 tsp cooking oil

2 tsp mustard

1 tsp urad dal

1 red chilli

1 stalk kadi patta.

Method

In a wok heat the oil, spurt the mustard in the oil, add in the urad dal, ginger, kadipatta, carrot, peas, green chilies and mooli saute it for a minute or two—please follow the order.

Add in the poha, salt, sprinkle water and turn the wok off, let the mixture stay for two minutes.

Dress with coriander leaves  squeeze juice of half a lemon, and serve hot.

I have substituted the poha with oats, macaroni, and sometimes even rice. But with any of these 2 tbsp of curd enhances the flavour.
