1 bunch of sabasige soppu

2 cups idli rice

1 cup jaggery

2 cups coconut scraping

1 tbsp. Avalakki (beaten rice)

Salt to taste


Roast rice slightly cool and soak

Clean the sabasige soppu and chop it fine, to this add, jaggery, coconut and avalakki grind to fine paste.

Powder the roasted rice and add to the ground mixture.

Set aside for 2-3 hrs.

Steam in an idli vessel as usual.

Serve hot with ghee and honey.
