1 cup chopped sabbasige soppu
½ cup kadalebele, chana dal
¼ cup urad/green gram dal
1 onion chopped
4 green chillies
½ tsp chopped ginger
1tsp. Chilli powder
Salt to taste
Oil to fry
Clean and chop the sabbasige soppu
Soak all the grams for 2 hrs drain and grind well.
To the ground mixture add the herbs, chopped onions, green chilli and ginger.

Scoop a spoonful and deep fry.
This makes a great evening snack. There are times when I float the ambode into kadi as kadi pakode.
