Sabassige chitranna
1 bunch sabbasige soppu finely chopped
6 cups rice
1 onion chopped
1 cup grated coconut
2 tsp chopped coriander leaves
1 tsp lime juice
1 tbsp. Peanut
2 tsp urad dal
1 tsp mustard
Salt to taste
Method
In a wok heat oil, sauté peanuts, urad dal, mustard seeds
Add chopped green chillies turmeric powder and onions sauté till the onions turns translucent
Now add in the sabbasige soppu and sauté for a while more
Add in rice, coconut, and lime juice and salt
Mix well,
Dress with chopped coriander before serving.
