1 medium cauliflower
1 cup thick curd
2 tbsp. Ginger garlic paste
Dry jeera powder 2 tsp
2 tsp pepper powder to sprinkle
2 tsp. Tandoori masala powder
1 tsp. Chilli powder
1 tbsp lime juice
2 tbsp oil
2 tbsp butter
Salt to taste.
Method
De-stalk the cauliflower and cut
Blanches in hot water and drain and immerse in cold water immediate. Slice.\to curd add salt, tandoori masala, ginger garlic paste, chilli powder and lime juice mix well
Marinate the parboiled cauliflower in this mixture.
Bake in an oven for 15 mnt10mnts.add butter and cook for 5 mnts more
Sprinkle roasted ginger pepper and cheat masala
Serve hot.
Is it just me, or are Indian spices the BEST on cauliflower? I can never decide which is better – tandoori spice or garam masala.
I am not sure I am always at a loss when it comes to cauliflower. As for tandoori spices versus garam masala, garam masala goes on most northie recipes so as a variant I use tandoori spices.At the end of the day it is what the palate demands.
