2 raw banana’s steamed
¼ peas,
¼ cup finely chopped coriander leaves.
1 tsp. Red chilli powder
2 tsps. Garam masala.
Pinch of asafoetida
Salt to taste
Oil for shallow frying.
½ an onion finely chopped (optional )
The steamed banana’s are peeled and mashed with peas, all the ingredients except oil.
These are divided to lime size portions and shallow fried on low flame till it turns reddish brown on both surfaces.
Alternatively roll the portions in breadcrumbs and deep fry.
