JEERA ALOO,

 

An evening with Nestle

 

Preparation time 10mnts.

Cpplomg time 20mnts.

Serves 4.

Ingredients

Maggie Masala-ae-magic 1 sachet
Oil 2tbsp.
Jeera 1 tsp.
Red chilli powder ½ tsp.
Salt To taste
Potatoes 500 gms, boiled, cut into 1” cubes.
Coriander leaves 2tbsp. chopped

 

Method.

  • Heat the oil in a wok, and add the jeera, whenit splutters add red chilli powder and fry for half a minute.
  • Add the potatoes and mix well, sauté for 2-3 minutes and adjust the salt to taste.
  • Add Maggie masala-ae-jashan mix well and sauté for 2mnts.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with rotis.

Notes – this can be done with other vegetables too.  though Yam and sweet potatoes are my favourites.
