Ingredients
1 cup powdered hesaru hittu (moong flour)
¾ cup melted ghee
¼ cup rava (chiroti)
¾ cup sugar (powdered)
½ tsp. Cardamom.
2tbsp. Almonds.
Method:
Heat ghee in a heavy bottom pan. I prefer an iron Kadai.
Roast rava and moong flour in it for 1-2 minutes.
Add sugar and cardamom mix and cook on medium flame 5-6 minutes stirring continuously.
Pour on a grease tray evenly
Sprinkle slivered almonds and press lightly.
Cut to cubes and allow to cool for 2hrs.
The mixture can also be shaped as Ladoo’s.
This can be stored in an airtight container for a week. If refrigerated then it lasts a little longer.
